Irritative urinary symptoms tend to be caused by irritation or inflammation somewhere in your urinary tract.
These symptoms include urinating more often than usual, feeling an urgency to urinate, and pain and burning when you urinate.
This combination of symptoms is commonly associated with the following disorders:
- Acute cystitis due to a bladder infection
- Acute pyelonephritis
- Interstitial cystitis, also known as painful bladder syndrome
- Prostatitis
- Acute epidymitis
